Industry Advisory Board (IAB)
The Clemson Construction Science and Management (CSM) Alumni consists of a diverse individuals located throughout the United States and overseas. The CSM Alumni Association has been developed by the CSM Department Industry Advisory Board (IAB) to increase and enhance the communication and opportunities among its graduates. The strength and involvement of the program Alumni is what makes each new class of students better each year. The Industry Advisory Board is comprised of representatives of the various sectors of the construction industry similar to those that hire the department’s graduates including CSM Alumni. The Industry Advisory Board serves as a "Sounding Board" to the CSM Department. The IAB provides input including recommendations on current industry practices to ensure that CSM majors receive a quality and up-to-date education. The IAB also assists the department in obtaining needed instructional resources
The IAB meets on a semi-annual basis – in the fall and spring semesters to network and discuss current practices with the faculty and students in the department. Future IAB activities and events will be announced through this site on a regular basis.
The members of the IAB elect the members of the Executive Committee, to carry out goals of the IAB which include review of program curricula, guidance in facilities planning and implementation, fundraising, networking and alumni development.
