We have an immediate need for an HVAC Project Manager at our Charleston, South Carolina office.

 

Job Title: HVAC Project Manager

Job Summary: The HVAC Project Manager has much responsibility for driving customer satisfaction and profitability. This position requires complete and thorough technical knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, control systems and the strongest possible focus on quality, customer satisfaction, planning, communication and proper utilization of resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage installation and repair projects.

• Drive optimum utilization of resources – labor, materials and equipment.

• Communicate with customers, service technicians, and installation managers.

• Assess and evaluate customer needs and develop effective strategies to manage customer expectations while ensuring the profit and financial well-being of the projects.

• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose effective solutions.

• Provide analysis to customer and management.

• Create customer quotes for service and change orders.

• Work order review to verify time needed, follow-up work, purchase order verification, and documentation of warranty work.

 

Qualifications:

• Minimum five years of experience in Commercial HVAC.

• Knowledge of HVAC principles, techniques, procedures and equipment

• Proven project management experience

• Proven leadership ability.

• Able to analyze and report on customer data

• Present a professional image to internal and external customers

• Able to articulate thoughts clearly and produce high quality written material.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess a strong, results-oriented work ethic.

• Have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

• Excellent communication skills; written, phone and in person.

• Ability to plan and organize.

• Proven client management and customer relations skills.

• Effective time management, strong problem solving and logical decision-making ability.

• Capacity to handle pressure and multiple projects.

• Undergraduate degree in a business or related field, or equivalent combination of experience and acquired skills.
