Construction Manager 2- Water/Wastewater

Charleston, SC

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects on-site construction activities for compliance with the CPM schedule and monitors and enforces compliance with contract requirements; Implements the Project Construction Execution Plan. Directs field staff in the daily, weekly planning process. 

• Monitors and reports on construction productivity and schedule performance (including trends) to the Lead Construction Manager.

• Has full knowledge of the site safety program and adheres to the Corporate Safety, Quality and Ethical Standards' programs in accordance with Division policies, Standards, Guides and Contractual commitments.

 

Minimum Qualifications 3 years at Entry level CM level 

 

Preferred Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or heavy industrial experience preferred.

Preferred Competencies: 

• Knowledge of construction

technology

• Knowledge of heavy civil construction

• Knowledge of Project controls

• Multi-tasking ability (prioritize, organize, schedule work)
